Job description

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for creating and updating drawings including schematics, components, and assembles in both 2D and 3D systems. Position provides hands-on design support and expertise to Project Engineers and others in the company.
Required/Preferred Skills and Abilities:
  • Associate’s degree or applicable experience, 3+ years desired
  • 2D and 3D CAD experience, AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office Suite
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • SolidWorks PDM experience a plus
  • Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical system interaction and design
Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively within the engineering team to complete required project drawings on schedule
  • Positively contribute to the engineering process and develop alternatives that allow the company to deliver consistently high-quality products and solutions to our customers
  • Implement process improvements and standardization around product designs and platforms
  • Willingness and drive to accept, plan, and complete special projects
  • Ability to prioritize and flexibility to shift priorities as required
  • Other duties as assigned
