Job description

Job Title: Associate, Electrical Engineering

Job Location: Waco, Texas

Job Description:

The exact role will depend on the skillset of the candidate and the needs of the projects, but below are roles that are typically needed:

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Contribute directly to projects that integrate new systems and technologies onto existing aircraft platforms

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Identify areas for continuous improvement in current work processes

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Develop or provide updates to aircraft electrical drawings, including wiring diagrams and cable assembly drawings

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Select components and equipment based on analysis of requirements and specifications

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Perform or provide updates to aircraft electrical analyses, such as Electrical Load Analysis (power budgets)

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provide liaison support to electrical manufacturing and electrical installation teams

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Perform Electromagnetic Engineering analyses and modeling, including antenna cosite, lightning, and HERF/HERP/HERO

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Support aircraft-level testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), P-Static, EMRADHAZ, and TEMPEST

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Develop or update test procedures and test reports

Qualifications:

To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Preferred Skills:

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Knowledge and/or experience with:

oย ย  Electrical CAD tools, such as Visual Engineer, AutoCAD Electrical or Mentor Graphics Capital Harness

oย ย  Antenna Modeling tools, such as Altair FEKO, or HFSS

oย ย  Power, Analog, Antennas, Controls, RF, Communication Systems

oย ย  Aerospace industry, military specifications and standards

oย ย  Systems Engineering concepts

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
