Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems
  • Diagnose issues involving PLCs, motors, drives, controls, and production equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and components
  • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and company standards


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing, steel, metals, recycling, or heavy industrial environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and automation systems
  • Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC systems
  • Knowledge of industrial controls and automation equipment
  • Experience with AC/DC motors, drives, and motor controls
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe maintenance practices
