We are looking for an Associate Project Manager for Electrical ProductsThis position reports to the Lead Project Manager, Project Management Organization. The successful candidate will interface with both internal and external customers to execute projects within critical hyperscale datacenter programs. This position is on-site with less than 20% travel required.

You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:
  • Assists Project Managers as required on high complexity, large-scale projects
  • Accountable for commercial, technical, engineering, and scheduling aspects of intricate/highly technical electrical distribution equipment projects at the direction of the project manager
  • Review quality documents and submit to project stakeholders
  • Assists with external facing coordination of equipment deliveries with site personnel including general contractors and electrical contractors.
  • Ensure efficient progression of orders from PO Submittal through on-site commissioning
  • Promptly resolve post-shipment issues through prioritization and comprehensive communication strategies and manual line management
  • Collaborate with the entire order value chain to deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Ensure all required project documentation is submitted according to required timelines and adheres to customer defined specifications
  • Develop changing order proposals as part of managing the overall project.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve for complex technical design issues and challenges.
  • Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact, complex and/or cross-functional problems.
  • Complies with Siemens policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
  • BS/BA, BS in engineering, business, or related field or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction, Building Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1 plus years of experience in project management or project administration including direct industry (General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Electrical Equipment).
  • Experience with the application and concepts of Electrical Products.
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Office 365
  • Proficiency with PDF editing tools
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS in engineering or business degree
  • Working with construction market
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Electrical products.
  • Maintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including E-mails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documents.
  • Must be highly organized, highly motivated and a detail-directed problem solver.
  • Demonstrates and apply leadership skills.
  • High level communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Working knowledge of project management processes.
  • Demonstrate and apply strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
