Position Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for an Associate Electrical Engineer position. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM: 5/19/26, 6/2/26, 6/16/26, 6/30/26 The class of Associate Electrical Engineer is the supervisory level class in the electrical engineer series and the first level requiring registration as an electrical engineer. Under general direction, incumbents perform difficult and responsible professional engineering work.

The Associate Electrical Engineer is distinguished from the Senior Electrical Engineer by the latter's higher level of technical expertise, management responsibilities, and variety and complexity of projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Possession of a valid certificate of registration as an electrical engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
