Job description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids and support our project pipeline.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both takeoffs and real-world installation, and can confidently build bids that lead to profitable jobs.
Responsibilities

  •  Review plans, specs, and bid documents 
  •  Perform detailed electrical takeoffs (labor & material) 
  •  Prepare accurate and competitive estimates 
  •  Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing 
  •  Build and submit proposals and bid packages 
  •  Track bid opportunities and deadlines 
  •  Work with project managers and field teams for feedback 
  •  Identify value engineering opportunities 
  •  Assist with change order pricing when needed
 Qualifications

  •  commercial electrical estimating experience  (a plus)
  •  Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems 
  •  Experience with takeoff and estimating software (EBM, Bluebeam, etc.) 
  •  Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs 
  •  Knowledge of labor units, material pricing, and job costing 
  •  Strong attention to detail and organization 
  •  Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
