Kavaliro's client is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager for a hybrid position in Atlanta, GA.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Support branch project managers in their day-to-day operations as well as manage their own projects.
  • Support field operations by ensuring coordination of communications, timely material orders, and accurate project schedules.
  • Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace for every employee while following and ensuring all company policies and procedures are being adhered to.
  • Recommend areas for cost efficiencies, branch opportunities, and execution of the region's vision.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all permits and plan reviews are coordinated in a timely manner.
  • Ensure appropriate quality and quantity of materials are ordered to meet daily workflows on assigned projects.
  • Attend project meetings, as required.
  • Coordinate subcontractors.
  • Ensure field supervisor and foreman are aware of any specialized needs.
  • Ensure all direct charges are appropriately recorded to the job and in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure all change orders are tracked, recorded, and provided to the customer in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinate, collaborate, and communicate in a respectful manner to field personnel, General Contractors, Subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure jobs run as efficiently as possible.
  • Ensures that Field Leaders and all Project manpower has the correct wage structure incorporated into all Projects under their control.
  • Monitors Project manpower resources and project workload, with the help of the Project Manager, to coordinate the assignment of manpower as needed to ensure that labor is managed in the most effective manner possible.
  • Maintains knowledge of quality Field Leader candidates to ensure the ability to perform work as needed. Takes advantage of networking opportunities to recruit new Field Leaders.
  • Coordinates periodic meetings with job teams to review project status to ensure efficient, accurate, and budget sensitive completion.
  • Provides the best possible environment to motivate field employees and maintain the highest possible morale in the office and on the job site.
  • Defines and analyzes problems in a timely manner and makes expedient decisions consistent with the ethical standards and policies established by the Company.
  • Attends an internal Job Kickoff meeting with the Project Manager and Field Leader once a Project has been awarded. This meeting is being held to provide execution details of the Project to the Field Leader so that he has a thorough understanding of the job from the beginning.
  • Assist field supervisor with setting benchmarking objectives for job completion.
  • Prepare, manage, and distribute appropriate documentation for job close out in coordination with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyzes, prepares, coordinates, and provides monthly job progress reports.
  • Consistently visits job sites to ensure the efficiency of the jobs and to create a collaborative relationship with the client.
  • Requires 75% travel to client sites throughout the southeast

Qualifications:
  • AAS degree in construction management, project management, business, or related field and/or;
  • Minimum of 1+ years experience in an equivalent or similar role or equivalent combination of experience and educational background.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects sizing from $0 - $1Million dollars at any particular time.
  • Must have the proven judgment and ability to motivate, mentor, and train employees to maximum individual and team efforts.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must have proven leadership qualities and the ability to communicate with direct reports in a clear, logical, concise and timely manner.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and functions at a single point in time.
  • Trade inspection in various jurisdictions.
  • Microsoft Suite
  • Power Bi, Accubid, and Viewpoint Vista a plus.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • This position should be able to sit, bend, stand for extended periods, and lift items not to exceed 75 pounds.
  • This position should be able to climb, crawl, and squat as job site access may demand.
