Controls Application Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Controls Application Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive problem solver who enjoys working in industrial environments, takes initiative, and thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This role is on-site in Davenport, IA with travel to various locations throughout Central and Eastern Iowa.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and support control system applications using platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, or similar building/industrial automation software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, software, and control-related issues in the field.
  • Work directly with customers and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and support of control systems.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to support system integration and troubleshooting.
  • Perform system testing, commissioning, and ongoing optimization of control solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with control system software such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or similar environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
