We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Electric Motor Mechanic. This role requires a background in mechanics, as it involves repairing electric motors that run machinery or large industrial equipment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, inspect, and repair various types of electric motors, pumps, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, identifying root causes and determining the best course of action.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and testing motor components.
  • Operate specialized equipment like micrometers, multimeters, and growlers to ensure precision and accuracy.
  • Rewind and reassemble motors, ensuring all parts are correctly installed and aligned.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Document repair and maintenance procedures, including parts used and time spent on each job.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Helpful skillsets - MIG Welding, Managerial experiences, Bridgeport Mill exp., Manual Lathes, etc.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen willingness and eagerness to learn new technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
  • A valid driver's license is a plus.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
