Weโ€™re searching for a talented and driven Project Controller to join our team!

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Prepare and submit monthly owner pay applications in accordance with GMP contract requirements.
  • Compile and reconcile supporting documentation including schedule of values (SOV), change orders, lien waivers, and certified payroll (if applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with contractual billing terms and conditions.
  • Monitor billing status and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Monitor project costs against GMP budget and schedule of values.
  • Reconcile committed costs (subcontracts, purchase orders) to budget.
  • Assist in cost forecasting and monthly job cost reporting.
  • Support project manager with cost-to-complete analysis.
  • Review subcontractor pay applications for accuracy and contract compliance.
  • Process subcontractor payments in coordination with Accounts Payable.

GMP & Contract Compliance

  • Track contingencies, allowances, and general conditions in accordance with GMP terms.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Support internal and external audits related to project financials.
  • Maintain accurate project financial records and contract documentation.
  • Partner with Project Managers and Operations to review financial performance.
  • Participate in monthly project review meetings.
  • Provide financial data and reporting to leadership as requested.
What Youโ€™ll Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of project accounting experience
  • Previous experience in GMP contract environments and large-scale construction projects.
  • Knowledge of AIA billing formats (G702/G703).
  • Experience preparing owner pay applications and managing subcontractor billings.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
