About the Role:

Bike Rental Central Park is seeking a reliable and skilled Bike Mechanic to join our team near the iconic Central Park. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of our fleet, which includes standard bikes, e-bikes, and scooters. You’ll play a key role in keeping our customers rolling—whether it's through daily maintenance or providing prompt roadside assistance.

What We’re Looking For:

We're looking for someone with mechanical experience (bike shop, scooter repair, or similar) who enjoys problem-solving, works well independently, and can thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential. If you’re dependable, proactive, and comfortable working outdoors, this is a great opportunity to join a high-energy team in one of NYC’s busiest tourist hubs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair standard bicycles, scooters, and electric bikes

  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on fleet equipment

  • Provide roadside assistance in and around Central Park as needed

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked repair station

  • Log and track repairs and service updates accurately
