Job description

Caregiver- Experience Required

Southern Arizona Eldercare is looking for a competent, energetic, kind, and patient caregiver to provide professional, compassionate care to our clients. The ideal candidate would be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. Every candidate should be able to follow instructions and be able to perform a variety of tasks to help the clients.
Responsibilities include the following:
  • Help clients take prescribed medication
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
  • Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
  • Help clients with physical therapy exercises
  • Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able to)
  • Grocery shop for the client or assist when client shops
  • Perform light housekeeping duties
  • Provide pleasant, supportive companion care
  • Report unusual incidents
  • Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergency

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a caregiver
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
  • Good housekeeping skills
  • Attention to dietary constraints
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Must be respectful and compassionate
  • Good time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Ethics
  • Physical endurance
