EKG Technician
Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
EKG Technicians are responsible for performing EKG's. Assist cardiologist with Stress Testing. Applying and removing Holter Monitors. Have the ability to retrieve and communicate information in a written, oral or visual fashion. Speaking writing and telephone skills as well as manual dexterity are required fro this position. Light typing is required.
Education:
High school diploma is preferred.
Experience:
One year of EKG experience is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
None.
