Job Description:

Responsible for patient assessments, care plans, plan implementation and evaluation and revision of therapy plan as needed. Performs diagnostic testing including ABG's, PFT's, EKG's, cardiac, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry. Transports patients within the hospital or between facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
  • Implement and evaluate respiratory therapy plans, revising as needed.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing such as ABG's, PFT's, and EKG's.
  • Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP).
  • ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, NRP certifications.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC.
  • 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
