American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment at a medical center in Utah, requiring active NBRC credentials and cardiopulmonary care experience.
Details- Night shift schedule: 1800–0600 with a 6 days on / 8 days off rotation
- 13-week contract
- Cardiopulmonary and respiratory therapy department
- Provides care to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities, including emergency department patients
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
- Active Utah State Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable
- Valid, active NBRC credential in good standing
- Required certifications: RRT or CRT, ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and RPSGT
- AARC/USRC membership preferred
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
- Works under the supervision of the Respiratory Medical Director and Department Manager
- Responsible for patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with physician orders and department policies
- Performs triage to prioritize care based on physical and psychosocial needs and patient flow
- Communicates patient status changes, symptomatology, and diagnostic results to ED physicians
- Provides patient, caregiver, and community education as part of respiratory care services
