Job description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Deployment Operations Lead to oversee largescale, multisite Electronic Health Record (EHR) system deployments. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across all phases of deployment-from predeployment planning through golive and postimplementation optimization. The ideal candidate is an organized, detailoriented leader who excels in stakeholder engagement, crossfunctional collaboration, and structured project execution.

The work:

Operational Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and manage enterpriselevel operational activities supporting a complex, multisite EHR deployment.
  • Maintain and track key performance metrics, weekly status reporting, issue and risk escalations, and schedule adherence.
  • Oversee programwide deployment processes, including wave planning, milestone tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, budget parameters, and quality standards.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned workstream.
  • Facilitate collaboration between technical teams, clinical stakeholders, program leadership, and executive sponsors.
  • Routinely communicate updates, challenges, and progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships across internal teams, client organizations, and vendor partners.

Deployment Lifecycle Management

  • Manage all phases of EHR deployment: predeployment planning, golive readiness, and postdeployment optimization.
  • Maintain and organize deployment artifacts, such as lessons learned logs, action trackers, and issue registers.
  • Review vendor deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and downstream impact on deployment activities.

Analysis, Documentation & Decision Support

  • Support preparation of deliverables, including data analysis, slide decks, written reports, and other materials that inform leadership decisions.
  • Develop guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and principles used across deployment activities.
  • Acquire deep knowledge of client processes, workflows, and organizational practices to guide deployment execution.

Experience

  • US Citizenship.
  • Prior project management experience supporting complex, multistakeholder initiatives.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Healthcare IT or prior EHR deployment work.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a related workstream domain (e.g., operations, training, technical readiness, clinical engagement).
  • Familiarity with client, veteran, or military culture.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power BI.
  • Experience with asset management, issue management, and stakeholder engagement
