Mood Dynamics Counseling Center, LLC is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify the most effective treatment methodologies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed specifically at trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Deliver engaging individual therapy sessions as well as facilitating group therapy to support patients in building coping strategies and processing traumatic experiences.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to formulate a holistic treatment plan ensuring integrated care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma, employing effective tools and techniques to manage acute situations.
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, appropriate coping mechanisms, and available resources to promote understanding and recovery.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in adherence to state regulations and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and workshops dedicated to professional development and trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Research and integrate the latest evidence-based findings into practice to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Your focus will primarily be on adult clients dealing with the effects of trauma, including PTSD and related disorders. You will engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each requiring unique therapeutic interventions and support tailored to their specific experiences and healing journeys. This role is crucial in delivering services that empower clients to move forward with their lives.

• An accredited Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities, underpinned by practical knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.
• Adeptness in dealing with high-stress situations, remaining calm and composed while providing support.
• Proficiency in using EHR systems and computer tools necessary for documentation and coordination of care.
• A collaborative spirit, comfortably working within a multidisciplinary team.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience focused on trauma-informed therapy is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions is preferred.
