The Kind of Work You'll be Doing:
  • Provide excellent customer service by handling a high volume of inquiries and requests (via phone, email, donor management system, web, etc.), ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Guide donors through the giving process, instruct them on how to manually update their information, and perform various transactions (i.e: reset passwords, change email addresses, etc.)
  • Resolve donor issues by troubleshooting and providing solutions for complex donation situations, including eGift contributions (i.e., electronic fund transfers (EFT) and credit cards, etc.) and managing account access.
  • Communicate professionally with donors and staff by crafting written correspondence for complex requests and providing updates.
  • Enter, prepare, and submit EFT and credit card donations and make updates as needed based on donor or staff instructions. Maintain detailed records by tracking donor interactions, creating service requests, and ensuring accurate updates to donation records and accounts.
  • Process internal giving transfers (IGT).
  • Ensure compliance with regulations by adhering to standards for secure payment processing, maintaining data integrity, and following internal and external policy requirements.
  • Maintain daily statistical volume reports, track phone, email, and mail counts, and ensure error rates are within acceptable limits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper processing of donations, transfer of funds, and handling of any issues that arise across teams. Track and report errors related to donations on the give site and communicate findings to U.S. Tech.
