At First Commerce Credit Union, we're committed to empowering generations and transforming communities, and our EFT team plays a key role in delivering seamless, secure member experiences.

As an EFT Specialist โ€“ Card Services, you'll support the day-to-day operations of our debit and credit card programs, assist in fraud prevention efforts, and ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. You'll collaborate across teams and vendors to maintain the integrity of our card services and protect our members.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll assist in managing debit and credit card activity, including monitoring transactions, resolving exceptions, and supporting reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy.

You'll play a key role in fraud detection and prevention - monitoring trends, preparing reports, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to address suspicious activity.

You'll process and manage card disputes, including issuing credits, communicating with members, and coordinating chargebacks with vendors as needed.

In addition, you'll support a variety of transaction processing tasks - including wires, ACH files, and card-related functions - while serving as a backup for other item processing areas when needed.

You'll also contribute to projects, assist with card reissues, and help maintain efficient workflows across the EFT and card services functions.

What You Bring to the Table

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of six months' experience in a financial institution required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research account activity
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills

  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
