Efficiency Managers often encounter resistance to change from team members who are accustomed to established workflows. Gaining buy-in across departments is crucial, as improvements may require cross-functional cooperation and adjustments to existing responsibilities. Additionally, balancing short-term disruptions with long-term gains can be challenging, as process changes might initially slow down operations before yielding measurable efficiency gains. Successful Efficiency Managers proactively communicate benefits, provide necessary training, and closely monitor the adoption of new practices to address these challenges.
