Role: ESL Teacher - Summer 2025
Location: Pasadena, CA
Compensation: $20- $26 / hour - Based on experience
*All applicants must be age 21 or older

The Role:
In this role, you will plan, prepare, and deliver the EF academic program through structured and interactive lessons and ensure a high level of customer service and student satisfaction.
Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to:
  • Teaching classes every weekday following the EF methodology.

  • Lesson planning and preparation before each class.

  • Classroom management.

  • Facilitating testing during the course, including marking tests.

  • Monitoring daily attendance and keeping up-to-date records and paperwork.

  • Attending all teacher meetings.

  • Monitoring student progress and personal goals to help them in their language improvement

  • Ensuring the EF behavior code is always followed by students and informing management immediately if there are any issues or problems.

  • Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise.

Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience.

  • TEFL certificate or equivalent.

  • Complete fluency in English.

  • Experience in the field of education

  • Attend training before your contract commences.

  • Have the right to live and work in the country of employment.

  • Applicants must be age 21 or older, due to the nature of the role working with minors.
