Qualifications:
  • Must be Highly Qualified
    • Current, valid Michigan Teaching Certificate, OR
    • At least 60 college credit hours and a Michigan Daily Substitute Teacher Permit

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Actively support students and carry out the delivery of instruction in the absence of the classroom teacher
  • Take attendance according to the procedures of the school, keep classroom and work orderly, and maintain normal classroom rhythms.
  • Comply with all procedures, guidelines, and policies of the school at all times.
  • Maintain a professional attitude in all manner of conduct with students, faculty, and parents, including a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Provide instruction within the framework of the state benchmarks and the District Curriculum Guidelines within certification.
  • Perform all other related duties and documentation requirements as assigned by the Administrator.

Compensation:
