Job description

At Classic Rock Fabrication, we're committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. As a Design Center Specialist, you'll play a key role in helping homeowners select the perfect stone, sinks, faucets, and edge profiles for their projects while ensuring every customer receives outstanding service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners throughout the design selection process.
  • Answer incoming calls and schedule showroom/design appointments.
  • Assist customers with selecting stone materials, sinks, faucets, and edge profiles.
  • Reserve customer-selected materials and maintain accurate material hold records.
  • Receive incoming products and materials.
  • Communicate daily with the Purchasing Department to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Uphold Classic Rock Fabrication's Core Values.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the company's mission and operational needs.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • One to two years of customer service, retail, showroom, administrative, or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design layouts, and specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and office software.
  • Evening and weekend availability as part of a rotating schedule.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, crouch, push, pull, lift, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work in both office and warehouse showroom environments.
