Job Description Summary:

The Associate Director, Educational Outreach, under general supervision, is responsible for overseeing all intermediary functions to ensure the successful implementation of grant-funded initiatives. This position monitors project timelines, performance measures, data collection processes, and program outcomes to ensure intermediary grant goals and deliverables are achieved. The Associate Director supports the development and sustainability of high-quality prekindergarten partnerships across the state through effective coordination, technical assistance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement efforts. This role collaborates with internal and external partners to promote data-driven decision-making, ensure compliance with grant requirements, and advance equitable access to high-quality early learning opportunities for children and families.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with statewide early childhood stakeholders, including school districts, childcare providers, Education Service Centers, and community organizations to support access to high-quality early learning opportunities.

- Coordinate and support all functions of the intermediary grant, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, deliverables, timelines, and performance expectations.

- Monitor intermediary grant activities, performance measures, and deliverables to ensure grant goals, objectives, and outcomes are achieved within established timelines and funding requirements.

- Collect, analyze, monitor, and report early childhood program data to support grant objectives, program evaluation, continuous improvement, and data-informed decision-making.

- Collaborate with internal and external partners to establish data collection processes, ensure data integrity, and provide timely and accurate reports to stakeholders and funding agencies.

- Support quality improvement initiatives through the coordination of curriculum implementation, instructional support, coaching, and professional development activities.

- Plan, develop, and facilitate training and technical assistance for school districts, childcare providers, and other early childhood partners to promote high-quality program implementation.

- Coordinate efforts to ensure accurate and timely submission of student data through the Early Childhood Data System (ECDS) and other required reporting platforms.

- Monitor program performance metrics and outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to enhance program effectiveness and school readiness outcomes.

- Serve as a liaison between school districts, childcare providers, and other stakeholders, fostering effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.

- Provide guidance and technical assistance related to early childhood program requirements, data reporting, quality standards, and partnership development.

- Support the evaluation and continuous improvement of intermediary services, resources, and initiatives to ensure alignment with grant goals and organizational priorities.

- Prepare reports, presentations, and other communications for leadership, funding agencies, and stakeholders regarding program activities, outcomes, and impact.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are achieved and organizational goals are advanced.

- Represent the organization at local, regional, and statewide meetings, trainings, and events related to early childhood education initiatives.

- Perform other duties as assigned in support of educational outreach, intermediary grant activities, and early childhood initiatives.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Eight years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to travel and stay overnight, as needed, to support statewide program operations, partnerships, training, and grant-related activities.

- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Preferred leadership experience in developing, implementing, and sustaining early childhood partnerships and collaborative initiatives.
- Preferred experience with early childhood partnerships.
