Position Title: Content InternReports to: Sr. Manager, ContentDepartment: ContentFLSA: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Job Summary:You could be part of the excitement at the Sacramento Kings! Our internship program will contribute to your education and professional growth and development. Our program has a rich combination of learning and networking activities that will make your time impactful, beneficial, and yes, FUN!The Content Intern supports the Content Team in producing dynamic video content that enhances the organization's visual objectives. This role is designed for an emerging creative professional eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced professional sports environment. The intern will assist across shooting, editing, production support, and content development while helping bring Kings storytelling to life throughout the season.
Program Period: June 2026 - End of 2026-27 Sacramento Kings Season
Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce videos on Sony Mirrorless and RED cinema cameras.
  • Edit videos to convey compelling stories.
  • Assist with day-to-day video production.
  • Support set up and execution of produced events and interviews.
  • Log video footage, including highlights, behind-the-scenes access, community events, and more.
  • Organize and coordinate video equipment, such as cameras, lights, audio supplies, etc.
  • Assist in developing content strategy.
  • Regularly work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of camera workflows.
  • Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder.
  • Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator experience a plus.
  • Camera familiarity (Sony A7siii, Sony A7RIV and Sony FX6).
  • Creative visual storyteller.
  • Well-versed interview and on-set production lighting.
  • Familiar with field production audio equipment.
  • Experience with sound design and color correction.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior attention to detail, organization, and editing experience.
  • Self-starter that is motivated to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented workplace.
  • Team and detail oriented.

To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:
  • Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
  • Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
  • Able to work an average of 25 hours per week

Interns will be compensated $17.50 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
