Job description

Dental Assistant - Bilingual (Spanish/English) 

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a reliable, professional, and motivated Bilingual Dental Assistant (Spanish/English) to join their growing dental team in Charlotte, NC.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after procedures
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Support front desk duties as needed (scheduling, patient communication)
  • Communicate clearly with Spanish-speaking patients and translate when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (required)
  • Dental Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
