This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing you to contribute from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients within our network of educational facilities across Seattle, WA. While you will primarily uphold regular business hours, be prepared for occasional evening or weekend engagements to support special events and programs designed to enhance the mental well-being of students and families.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, using various assessment tools and methodologies.
• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Develop and implement tailored service plans that target clients' goals, incorporating both short-term and long-term strategies for success.
• Advocate for clients’ rights by navigating access to resources, connecting them with appropriate social services, and promoting social justice initiatives.
• Collaborate with school personnel, mental health professionals, and community organizations to enhance support services and create a cohesive network of care.
• Contribute to ongoing program development, evaluation, and grant reporting to secure funding and improve service delivery.
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development training, and community outreach activities to foster a collaborative work atmosphere.

You will primarily serve children and adolescent populations within educational settings, addressing diverse mental health challenges that affect their academic performance and overall well-being. This role involves working closely with students, their families, and school staff to provide support tailored to unique needs, whether through crisis intervention, counseling sessions, or referrals to additional resources.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Sound understanding of trauma-informed care principles and social justice advocacy.
• Strong organizational, empathetic, and communication skills, essential for effective client interactions and teamwork.

• Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization or similar service setting, preferably with a focus on mental health.
• Knowledge of local community resources and social service programs applicable to educational environments.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse populations and address their unique mental health needs.
