Job description

Ensure that the store operates both safely and environmentally compliant, while effectively and efficiently working within the guidelines of the administrative policies and procedures. The individual will work with new hireโ€™s and provide mentoring during the on boarding process. Will be safety process oriented with the ability to build trust, credibility, and strong working relationships with employees and store leadership.

Essential Functions:
  • Partners with Store Leadership to ensure that the store is adhering to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • New hire onboarding and mentoring.
  • Drive safety performance through education and training.
  • Follows safety policy and procedures and leads by example for the rest of the employees.
  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are communicated and implemented at the store level.
  • Prepares safety reports for the Regional Director and administrative office.
  • Partner with all internal corporate support resources to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations to achieve results.
  • Follows company policy and procedures and leads by example for the rest of the employees.
  • Assist store leadership with administrative and safety tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Activities Required to Perform Essential Functions:

Ability to stand, walk, and sit up for long periods of time. Manual dexterity to reach and handle items with hands and arms; Climb and balance, Ability to talk or hear; Peripheral and depth perception vision; Light to moderate physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a productive/technical nature. Able to work on feet (stand and walk) for assigned work shift.

Interpersonal Contacts:

Works closely with store leadership and employees. High level reporting to the PNP Executive Team and Senior Management.

Job Conditions:

Outdoor/Indoor shop and construction type and heavy retail environment. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Exposure to high noise levels and heavy construction equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in the field of business or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Must work safely at all times
  • Good interpersonal skills with an outgoing friendly positive attitude
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, and perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
