Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of non-teaching classroom support and student care services as directed.
RATE: $18.96-$24.39 per hour - Starting hourly rate based on experience. 181 Days.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
High school diploma.
Has or is able to attain a valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit.
Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for working with students in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Articulate, professional demeanor with strong self-confidence and initiative.
Proven written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills.
Responsiveness; follow-up and follow-through with students, families, and faculty members is essential.
Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
Meets all mandated health and background screening requirements including FBI/BCI checks.

Enforces and maintains proper classroom rules for discipline and management.
Work collaboratively and effectively with staff, students, and parents, and form positive relationships with students to promote student success and support.
