As an Education Sales Representative, you will play an important role in supporting the next generation of skilled technicians. By building relationships with students enrolled in automotive, diesel, aviation, and other technical education programs, you will serve as a trusted advisor, mentor, and technical resource. Working closely with students, faculty, and educational institutions, you will help future professionals identify the right tools for their careers while representing a respected brand with a long history of supporting the skilled trades.


  • Build and maintain relationships with students attending technical education programs.
  • Mentor students and provide guidance on tool selection based on career and coursework goals.
  • Promote the Snap-on brand by communicating the value and quality of our products.
  • Develop strong partnerships with instructors, faculty, and school administrators.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through effective planning, organization, and territory management.
  • Support school bookstores with tool forecasting, inventory planning, and ordering processes.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, tool shows, and safety presentations.
  • Identify and address the needs of assigned educational institutions.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of outside sales experience required.
  • Strong technical aptitude and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assist customers in identifying solutions for specific application requirements.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving performance goals and growing an assigned sales territory.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to audiences at all levels of an organization.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of Snap-on products, services, and programs is preferred.
