VNA is seeking a Clinical Education Manager to lead and support high-quality clinical education and workforce development programs for employees and community learners. This position is responsible for developing, delivering, managing, and evaluating competency-based education programs, including CNA, CMA, CPR/BLS, First Aid, clinical skills validation, new-hire clinical orientation, annual education, and continuing education.

The Clinical Education Manager will provide in-person classroom, lab, and clinical instruction; develop curriculum and learning materials; coordinate instructors and preceptors; monitor learner outcomes; and ensure education programs align with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate clinical education and workforce development programs.
  • Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction as qualified.
  • Develop curriculum, lesson plans, assessments, competency tools, and educational materials.
  • Coordinate and support instructors, adjunct faculty, preceptors, and subject matter experts.
  • Maintain training records, competency documentation, and program reports.
  • Support staff onboarding, annual education, skills validation, and continuing education.
  • Ensure programs remain compliant with applicable state, federal, and agency requirements.
  • Partner with leaders to identify learning needs and strengthen clinical competency and quality care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Current active Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or a compact licensure state required.
  • Three to five years of clinical nursing or direct patient care experience required.
  • Experience in home health, community health, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, or related healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience teaching, training, precepting, coaching, or validating clinical competencies preferred.
  • Must meet applicable requirements to teach or coordinate CNA and CMA education programs.
  • CPR/BLS instructor certification preferred or ability to obtain within agency-defined timeframe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically skilled nurse educator who is passionate about developing healthcare professionals, supporting workforce readiness, and advancing compassionate, high-quality care in the community.
