We're partnering with an exceptional K-12 school in Macomb County, MI to hire Special Education Teachers for the 2026/2027 school year to support special education services within a Michigan public school setting.


Position Details:

  • Start Date: Aug 10, 2026
  • End Date: May 21, 2027
  • Schedule: Full-time, follows school district schedule
  • Location: On-Site, Macomb County, MI
  • School Year: 2026/2027


Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction aligned to student needs in the assigned service model (e.g., inclusion, resource, or specialized classroom).
  • Collaborate with general education partners and/or support staff to plan and deliver instruction for students with disabilities.
  • Implement classroom supports, accommodations, and modifications so students can access instruction and participate meaningfully.
  • Deliver small-group or individual instruction focused on skill-building in targeted areas of need.
  • Support structured behavioral and social-emotional interventions for students who require increased classroom supports.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Completion of a Michigan-approved teacher preparation program.
  • Completion of required student teaching and/or clinical experience.
  • Passing scores on the required Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) examinations.
  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with the appropriate Special Education endorsement for the population being served.
