Job description

DEL REY is seeking a passionate Curriculum Developer possesses strong expertise in translating complex technical maritime concepts into clear, concise documentation and training materials. Designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. This position develops instructional systems design, which should include analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of interactive courseware and instructor led training curricula directly related to technical training requirements.

May coach trainers. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.

This position offers a salary in the range of $75-85k based on numerous factors, including degree and overall experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and update training materials and documentation to support operational readiness and regulatory compliance.

Conduct interviews and technical briefings with maritime personnel, engineers, and subject matter experts to collect accurate information.

Produce and maintain manuals, technical documents, training guides, and policy documents that align with maritime standards and regulatory requirements.

Ensure technical accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.


Requirements

Experience with one of the following LMS tools or similar: AIM II, CPM LOM, LEAD, CDS.

Seven years of experience in curriculum development.

A minimum of 100 hours of curriculum development experience is desired.

A Master Training Specialist certification or equivalent is desired.

A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline.
