The initiative begins with baseline assessments, resource mapping, and analysis of district systems to inform systems development for the provision of behavioral and mental health services and supports for students. This role will translate federal grant requirements and complex fiscal guidance into clear, actionable steps for district leaders.\r\n \r\n \r\n The ideal candidate will bring a solid working understanding of federal and state grants and contractsimplementation and compliance, the CSDE electronic Grants Management System (eGMS), behavioral health program and fiscal monitoring, school safety, along with strong written communication skills, and experience preparing legislative reports on behavioral and mental health initiatives.\r\n \r\n \r\n The incumbent will visit school districts throughout the State of CT monthly to facilitate events and provide on-site support.\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n NOTE: As approved by the State Department of Education, this position requires specific advanced education and experience in order to meet the needs of the position. PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)
In the Departments of Aging and Disability Services, Education, and the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System assists in planning and executing programs of extensive difficulty and scope for the improvement of education in the state.\r\n
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
