They possess a strong understanding of both technical products and educational needs, enabling them to demonstrate, customize, and support edtech solutions throughout the sales process. Typically, they assist sales teams by providing product expertise, conducting technical presentations, and addressing customer questions about product functionality and integration. Their role is crucial in ensuring that educational institutions adopt technology effectively and that the solutions align with teaching and learning goals.

How does an Edtech Sales Engineer typically collaborate with both the sales team and product development to address client needs?

You'll frequently join client meetings with account executives to provide technical expertise, answer detailed product questions, and demonstrate how solutions meet specific educational challenges. Additionally, you collect valuable feedback from clients and relay it to the product team, helping shape product enhancements or customizations. This collaborative environment ensures you are constantly learning and directly influencing both sales success and product innovation.
