ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible's Content team is looking for a smart, passionate, book and podcast-obsessed editor to support the ongoing curation needs of the editorial team and to oversee the Hear My Story program-collections by storytellers from diverse backgrounds and experiences. The Editor is expected to define the goals and strategy of the program, ensuring that they ladder up to the overall goals of both the larger department and the business. They will oversee the ongoing updates of each page across our Global English marketplaces, and also work cross-functionally with other partner teams on the execution of various Hear My Story collections

The Senior Editor understands how to measure the success of their program and report on and share results. The role also requires being an active participant in other Editorial programs, such as Editors Select and Best of the Year, lending subject matter and genre expertise where appropriate.

As an Editor, you will...
- Oversee Editorial's Hear My Story ("HMS") program, collections by storytellers from diverse backgrounds and experiences, across our Global English marketplaces
- Work with the individual HMS page owners on the Editorial team to ensure each experience (across blog and app) maintains an "always on" feel
- Advocate for and secure Blog content to support each HMS page (i.e

interviews, 5 listens with, relevant articles etc.)
- Deliver on results of the program, and oversee the strategy for the program's overall health
- Offer subject-matter expertise on various genres
- Conceive, pitch, create, and edit content for our Blog designed to help our listeners find their next great listen
