ROLE SUMMARY

USM Technology is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Sales & Relationship Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of our sales, marketing, relationship-building, and thought-leadership initiatives.

The Sales & Relationship Coordinator transforms ideas, relationships, marketing efforts, webinars, and opportunities into organized, consistent, professional execution that drives growth.

The ideal candidate thrives on creating order from complexity, maintaining high standards, coordinating multiple moving pieces, and helping executives stay focused on high-value activities. This is not a quota-carrying sales role and is not a cold-calling position. Instead, this role focuses on execution, communication quality, follow-up, coordination, and converting business development activity into measurable results.

Mission: to ensure that relationships are nurtured, opportunities are followed up, marketing communications are professional and polished, and growth initiatives move forward consistently and effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Relationship & Opportunity Coordination

  • Maintain follow-up activities for prospects, referral partners, and strategic clients.
  • Coordinate meetings, introductions, and next steps.
  • Track opportunities and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
  • Maintain visibility into relationship and business development activities.

Executive Growth Support

  • Organize growth-related initiatives and action items.
  • Coordinate peer-group opportunities, speaking engagements, webinars, and thought-leadership events.
  • Maintain accountability dashboards and project tracking tools.
  • Help leadership stay focused on strategic priorities by reducing administrative friction.

CRM & Sales Operations

  • Maintain CRM accuracy and hygiene.
  • Update contacts, opportunities, notes, and next actions.
  • Prepare sales and marketing reports as needed.
  • Ensure no opportunity becomes stagnant due to lack of follow-up.

Marketing Communications & Quality Control

  • Review and proofread marketing materials, presentations, social media content, emails, proposals, and client-facing communications.
  • Ensure brand consistency, professionalism, accuracy, and clarity.
  • Serve as the final quality-control checkpoint before key communications are published or distributed.

Event Management

  • Coordinate event scheduling, registration management, attendee communications, and eventlogistics.
  • Manage post-event follow-up processes.
  • Schedule follow-up conversations and ensure attendees receiveappropriate resourcesand communications.
  • Track engagement and resulting opportunities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • Experience as a Sales Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, Executive Assistant, Revenue Operations Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or similar role preferred.
  • Experience supporting B2B, professional services, consulting, technology, or MSP organizations preferred.
  • Experience coordinating webinars, events, or marketing campaigns preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Proficiencywith CRM systems; strong data hygiene habits.
