Video Editor & Motion Designer

Oregon, WI • On-site

Job description

IndieFolio is helping India's biggest brands leverage AI to reinvent how video gets made. Our internal team builds its own production tools, co-creates tools with clients, and runs real research into what AI-native production can actually do. We're not following the playbook. We're writing it.

And we need an editor who can live in both worlds: master of the craft as it exists today, and architect of where it goes next.

Who You Are

Premiere Pro and After Effects are muscle memory. You can cut a podcast into a scroll-stopping reel, build motion graphics that feel alive, and capture attention in the first 3 seconds, every time.

You've already been playing with Seedance, ChatGPT's Image 2.0, Gemini's Nano Banana Pro, and tools like Higgsfield, not as toys, but to see how far they can be pushed. You understand that prompting is a craft, that on-brand and high-quality don't happen by accident, and that the people who learn to direct these models now will define the next decade of this industry.

If that's you, you'll fit right in.

IMP Note: This role begins with a 2-month paid contract, following which a full-time offer is extended.

What You'll Actually Do
  • Direct AI-generated video and image assets using Seedance, Image 2.0, Nano Banana Pro, and Higgsfield, to a professional, on-brand standard that holds up next to anything cut by hand.
  • Design eye-catching covers, thumbnails, and social posts that earn the click.
  • Turn master content like podcasts into compelling short-form videos with high-quality animation.
  • Edit and assemble raw footage with special effects, animation, and sound into polished, finished work.
  • Work across podcasts, events, original social content, and showreels.
  • Help shape the tools and workflows our team is building, your instincts will directly influence what we make next.
  • Keep everything aligned to brand, on deadline, and at a quality bar you're proud of.
What You Bring
  • A strong portfolio that proves you can edit diverse content into short-form video with excellent animation.
  • Real command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with solid motion graphics chops. Final Cut, Descript, or similar are a bonus.
  • Hands‑on understanding of leading AI image and video models (Seedance, ChatGPT Image 2.0, Gemini Nano Banana Pro) and tools like Higgsfield, including how to prompt them well for on-brand, high-quality output.
  • An eye for detail, a sense for visual storytelling, and the creativity to make both craft and AI sing.
  • The ability to own your work, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Sharp communication and a finger firmly on the pulse of the latest editing, animation, and AI trends.
Why This Is Worth Your Time

You won't be a cog. This is an early‑stage role with room to build a team around you and put your fingerprints on tools that don't exist yet. You'll work alongside expert creative professionals and marketing leaders, on problems most of the industry hasn't even started solving.

  • Shape the future of production, not just your own edits. The traditional 9-to-6 isn't the only way to work, and traditional editing isn't the only way to create. Come help us build what comes next.
  • Your work has a real impact. We're India's largest homegrown network of creative professionals. What you make moves the creative industry forward.
  • Get in early. We've found our solution‑market fit and we're on a path to grow 100X over the next three years. The leverage you'll have here, you won't find at a bigger, slower place.
  • Total ownership, total flexibility. We're remote‑first and run on a jobs‑to‑be‑done framework. Set your own hours. Just deliver on your promises.
  • We back people who take ownership. High agency, clear communication, and maximum transparency, both ways.
