Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer will report directly to the Director, Marketing & Product Innovation and will work closely with members of the sales, marketing, engineering, and executive teams. This position will collaborate across departments to support branding initiatives, Sales team, product launches, trade show materials, digital content creation, internal communications, and other visual communication needs across operations.
SCOPE:
The purpose of the Graphic Designer at Gasser Chair is to help develop and maintain visually brand-consistent creative materials that support the company's marketing, sales, and communication objectives. This role is responsible for designing digital and print assets that effectively communicate the Gasser Chair brand while supporting customer engagement, product promotion, recruitment efforts, and internal company initiatives. The Graphic Designer will play a key role in maintaining visual consistency, enhancing brand identity, and supporting strategic business initiatives through creative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities of this position will include, but will not be limited to:
  1. Graphic Design: Create visually engaging graphics, layouts, and marketing materials for both print and digital platforms, including brochures, catalogs, advertisements, presentations, signage, and social media content.
  2. Brand Management: Maintain and uphold Gasser Chair's brand standards across all visual communications to ensure consistency and professionalism.
  3. Digital Content Creation: Design and develop digital assets for websites, email campaigns, social media platforms, and other online marketing initiatives.
  4. Product Mock-up and Sales Support: Create digital product mock-ups for customer presentations (photo manipulations)
  5. Product Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to create product launch materials, specification sheets, and promotional assets that support business development efforts.
  6. Internal Communications: Design materials supporting internal company initiatives, including employee engagement campaigns, orientation materials, newsletters, and company announcements.
  7. Photography and Image Editing: Assist with product photography coordination, photo editing, image retouching, and maintaining digital image libraries.
  8. Trade Show and Event Support: Develop graphics and visual materials for trade shows, customer presentations, events, and showroom displays.
  9. Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external printers, promotional vendors, and creative partners to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery of materials.
  10. Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  11. Creative Collaboration: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to support marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and company objectives.
  12. File Management: Maintain organized digital design files, templates, and archived materials for efficient future use and consistency.
  13. Continuous Improvement: Stay current on graphic design trends, software advancements, and creative best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of design work.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  2. Proven experience in graphic design, marketing design, or creative services preferred.
  3. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  4. Experience designing for both print and digital platforms.
  5. Strong understanding of branding principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  9. Experience with photography, video editing, or motion graphics is a plus.
  10. Portfolio demonstrating strong creative and technical design abilities required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Graphic Designer at Gasser Chair is expected to perform job duties primarily in an office environment. The role requires extended periods of sitting, working on a computer, and using design software applications. Occasional standing, walking through manufacturing or showroom areas, lifting materials up to 25 lbs, and attending trade shows or company events may be required. Visual acuity and attention to detail are essential for reviewing creative materials and ensuring design accuracy.
