Job description

Sterling Search Partners is helping a Birmingham construction firm with its search for a Project Manager with limited over night travel. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing all phases of commercial and/or residential construction projects. This role oversees project planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and quality control while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.



Key Responsibilitie

  • sManage multiple construction projects from initiation through closeout
  • .Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
  • .Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • .Review project plans, specifications, and contracts
  • .Monitor project costs and approve invoices and change orders
  • .Conduct regular job site visits to ensure quality, safety, and progress
  • .Identify and resolve project issues and risks proactively
  • .Lead project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders
  • .Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, and company safety policies
  • .Manage procurement of materials and equipment
