They work closely with developers, business analysts, and trading partners to resolve issues and improve transaction reliability. This role requires knowledge of EDI standards, mapping tools, and testing methodologies to prevent errors in electronic communication.

Is EDI an IT job?

EDI testing is a role within the IT field that involves verifying electronic data interchange systems and protocols. It requires knowledge of data formats, communication standards, and often involves working with software tools and scripting. EDI testers typically collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
