Consultant Role and Responsibilities:
• Knowledge of logistics industry specifically on air & ocean freight and customs domain
• Skills in mapping data between different systems and ensuring seamless integration
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data exchange and system integration
• Ensuring accuracy in data transmission and compliance with industry standards
• Experience in defining and managing EDI test cases, system testing, and supporting UAT
• Experience with EDI software tools such as IBM Sterling Integrator, TIBCO, WSO2 etc.
• Identify and document business requirements for downstream digital solutions
• Participate in solution ideation, design sprints and user interviews to gather and synthesize information.
• Benchmark industry best-practices and exiting solutions in the market.
• Assist the product owner in detailing features and user stories of the digital solutions. ensuring that user stories are well-prepared for design and development.
• Translate end-user requirements into features and software functionalities and document them in industry standard formats.
• Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure user stories are ready for design and development.
The EDI Business Analyst will report to the EDI Product Owner and will collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT and Business teams.
