We are seeking an EDI Technical Analyst to support a leading healthcare payer in maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing enterprise EDI solutions. This is a senior-level technical role requiring strong experience with healthcare EDI transactions, QNXT, advanced SQL development, C#, and production support within a managed care environment. The ideal candidate will independently troubleshoot complex production issues, support large-scale technical initiatives, perform technical discovery, develop dashboards and reporting, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable EDI solutions. This individual should have extensive experience working with healthcare payer systems and HIPAA transactions, and should serve as a technical resource for enterprise integrations and data exchange.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve highly complex EDI production issues involving healthcare transactions.
  • Support and maintain QNXT integrations, interfaces, and data workflows.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
  • Utilize C# to support application enhancements, integrations, automation, and technical solutions.
  • Perform technical discovery and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Create technical specifications, mapping documents, and workflow documentation.
  • Build dashboards and monitoring tools to track transaction health, performance, and operational metrics.
  • Research transaction issues and analyze data trends to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
  • Support healthcare EDI transactions including 834, 835, 837, 270/271 and other HIPAA transactions.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve production monitoring, alerting, and system reliability.
  • Lead or participate in large enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Develop project estimates, timelines, and implementation plans.
  • Support API integrations, data interfaces, and enterprise applications.
  • Participate in testing activities including validation, defect resolution, and production implementations.
  • Provide production support while participating in on-call rotations as required.

  • Experience supporting HIPAA EDI transactions including:834 Enrollment, 835 Claims Payment, 837 Claims, 270/271 Eligibility
  • Experience with healthcare integrations, data mapping, and ETL processes.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reporting, and production monitoring solutions.
  • Strong understanding of API integrations and enterprise application support.
  • Experience with production support and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of testing tools such as SOAP UI or Postman.
  • Experience working with Splunk, application monitoring, or similar logging tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field is preferred.
