What are EDI solutions?

EDI Solutions, or Electronic Data Interchange Solutions, are systems and services that enable organizations to electronically exchange business documents, such as purchase orders and invoices, in a standardized format. These solutions help automate and streamline communication between business partners, reducing manual data entry, errors, and processing time. By using EDI, companies can improve efficiency, enhance accuracy, and foster better relationships with trading partners.

Familiarity with EDI translators, integration platforms (such as IBM Sterling or SPS Commerce), and knowledge of relevant communication protocols is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help facilitate smooth collaboration between technical teams and business partners.
