Schedule: Hybrid (1 day per week onsite, occasionally 2 days as needed)

Overview

Our client in Houston, TX is seeking a Analyst to support retail operations and customer enrollment processes. This role will work closely with Sales, Customer Care, and IT teams to analyze customer, billing, and usage data while supporting day-to-day business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze retail operations data, including customer enrollments, billing transactions, and historical usage.
  • Support EDI transaction processing and troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Create reports and dashboards to provide operational insights.
  • Perform SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data.
  • Utilize Power BI to develop dashboards and visualizations.
  • Work extensively with Excel, including VLOOKUPs and other advanced functions.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Care, and IT teams to support business initiatives and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Assist with billing analysis and customer account research.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytical experience.
  • Strong SQL querying skills.
  • Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and data analysis functions.
  • Experience working with billing, enrollment, customer, or transactional data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
