This position will supervise multiple Sashco team members through day-to-day activities, while fostering a positive, improvement-focused team environment. You’ll identify individual and team improvement needs, coordinate training, track metrics and goals, and help design career paths for the Customer Service Team.

What you will be doing
  • Coordinate and help execute day-to-day activities for the Customer Service Team, including order entry, answering technical phone calls, and fielding sales representative questions
  • Coordinate requests for time off to ensure coverage of phones and order entry for the team
  • Assist CS Manager with strategy for short- and long-term goals
  • Create and maintain accountability metrics and systems for Customer Service team
  • Understand, use, and recommend improvements for all CS systems, including ERP (currently Business Central), CRM (currently Salesforce), phone system, EDI clients, and any other relevant systems
  • Problem solve and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive improvements and efficiencies of Customer Service and the systems they use
  • Verify and audit timecards in accordance with company and team policies and to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor stock status and shipping schedules with Production and Shipping
  • Coordinate, facilitate and cross train team members to ensure a flexible and knowledgeable work team. Coordinate training for new team members and refresher courses for veteran team members to meet ongoing organizational needs
  • Coordinate and maintain accountability for team members’ training and career paths
  • Ability to work in and around chemicals; including but not limited to latex, biocides like Prevental D and Tinuvin 292, Lipase, and Fungicides. Some chemical reactions may happen.
Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Customer Service Representative or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor (required).
  • Strong listening, critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Customer Service or Communication (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Business Central, Salesforce, Power BI, and RingCentral (preferred).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • English language skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relations skills.
  • Assertive with a direct customer service role.
  • Strong customer service and public relations skills.
  • Strong organizational and clerical skills.
