Technology Talent Network has a client in search of a talented Business Analyst.


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the successful delivery of technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop test scenarios and validate solutions against business requirements.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
  • Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle and ensure proper traceability.
  • Prepare status updates and communicate project requirements and risks to stakeholders.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL and data analysis.
  • Experience creating process flow diagrams using Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
  • Experience in healthcare, financial services, insurance, or government projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and software testing processes.
  • Experience supporting UAT and production implementations.
