Job description

The Edge Bander Operator is an essential individual contributor responsible for setting up and operating edge banding machines to produce quality custom projects. This role involves handling materials, ensuring machine maintenance through operator troubleshooting and coordination with the maintenance team, and monitoring production processes while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate edge banding machines for production runs
  • Perform edge banding on custom projects with precision
  • Inspect finished products for quality compliance
  • Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues
  • Handle materials and maintain organized work area
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
  • Monitor production progress and report issues to supervisors

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in wood shop environment and working with wood materials
