Pay:

  • Starting from $16-$20 hourly
  • Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and desired location (Monroe, West Monroe, Ruston, or Jonesboro).

Qualifications For EDDA:

  • High School Diploma or higher
  • REQUIRED: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Certification (issued by Louisiana State Board of Dentistry)
  • REQUIRED: Dental X-Ray Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in a dental practice (preferred)

Snaggle Dental and Peach Tree Dental are seeking an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to educate our patients to maintain a healthy smile for a lifetime, treat them like family, and keep them comfortable.

Duties include taking radiographs, providing routine dental prophylaxis (polish), maintaining infection control, providing oral hygiene instruction, and maintaining/scheduling patients for regular preventive recall appointments.

Other functions include managing supplies, accommodating individual patient needs, educating the patient/parent about dental procedures, maintaining the clinic’s schedule efficiently, and adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures.


Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:30am – 5:00pm)

Saturday Rotation (7:50am - 1:00pm)
