Ed Tech III, Pre-K

Abraham Lincoln School is seeking a PreK Educational Technician to join our team. The PreK Ed Tech will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for our youngest learners. The successful candidate will assist with instruction, supervision, daily routines, and social emotional development while fostering positive relationships with students and families.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the PreK teacher to support classroom instruction and activities
  • Provide small group and one on one student support
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, and meal times
  • Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and daily routines
  • Support students' self help, social, and behavioral development
  • Maintain a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Educational Technician II or III certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Current CHRC/fingerprint clearance though the Maine DOE
  • Experience working with young children preferred

$21.47 - $28.36 hourly, depending on certification level and experience.
